brightup was founded in 2012 by four engineering and management students. Due to the background of the founders, it was conceived and brought to life on the campus of the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH).

The vision is to revolutionize the way one enjoys homes, enhancing through smart solutions the feelings of comfort and coziness. Brightup empowers everyone with full control of their lights through a smart, intuitive and affordable light automation solution.
