C2X – New standard for car-to-car communications

C2X will allow vehicles to automatically transmit hazard warnings, supported by a basic set of standards for Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS).

This represents a huge opportunity for sensors utilization and interconnection.

The European standard bodies worked together with North American and Japanese counter parts to ensure global compatibility and a target of 10% vehicles mutually connected.
