Tridium, a global software and services company, develops and markets a universal software framework targeted at solving the challenges associated with managing smart devices. Tridium’s core technology, the patented Niagara Framework® (or “Niagara”), a Java-based framework, provides a software infrastructure to integrate diverse systems and devices – regardless of manufacturer or communication protocol – into a unified platform that can be easily managed in real time over the Internet using a standard web browser. As a complement to Niagara, Tridium offers a suite of products and enterprise applications through OEM and reseller partners. These products, which are powered by the Niagara Framework, target specific application needs in key markets served by Tridium. Products “powered by Niagara” enable facilities managers, energy service companies, and systems integrators to integrate proprietary and otherwise incompatible products into a unified enterprise solution, allowing anyone using a standard web browser to measure, manage, and control a wide variety of facilities and energy applications from anywhere in the world.
